SPRING is here!!
The Spring Equinox invites us to reflect on our imbalances and inner landscape in order to embrace this seasonal transition and bloom into fullness.
The key to this transition lies in our ability to tune in, create space and get still in order to reflect on what is weighing us down from the previous seasons. What needs to be purged and reconciled in order to EMERGE?

In order to fully surrender we need to practice trust. And this cultivated SUPER POWER called Trust takes mindful tending to. With practice we learn to break out of this trance of habitual patterns fed by fear, doubt and the ego, and begin to focus our conscious mind on the VISIONS and VIBRATIONS we desire and wish to embody.
In Yogic philosophy this is called Pratipaksha Bhavanam, pratipaksha meaning opposite, and bhavana meaning cultivation. When life presents us with challenging situations (criticism, defeat, rejection, or negative thought and talk) we are reminded to pause in order to shift the current in the opposite direction. The lesson lies not in ignoring these very real and challenging emotions, but instead becoming a skilled objective witness to them, acknowledging and then CHOOSING the conscious shift. Through practice and presence this mental discipline is strengthened shifting perception and our entire life.

As we strengthen this super power through our mindful practices, we break free from living enslaved by our reactivity or old patterns. We learn to pause in the midst of these tornadoes. If we breathe and lean into the frequency we wish to roam, then we can EMERGE from the whipping winds of life with a deeper sense of self. Softer + Stronger.
